Effective 2026-09-09. Applies to the Highlight Harvest add-on for Google Docs and the website highlightharvest.com, operated by Geary Works ("we").
Highlight Harvest runs inside the Google Doc you have open. It reads that document's text and highlight colors to do its job, and writes highlights or a summary back into that same document when you ask it to. It does not copy your document anywhere, does not read your other files, and has no analytics.
Nothing from your document is ever transmitted to us or to any third party. The only outbound network request the add-on makes is a license check: when you enter a license key, the add-on sends that key (and our public organization identifier) to Polar, our payment provider, to confirm it is valid. No document content is included in that request.
Highlight Harvest's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not transfer Google user data to anyone, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission for support purposes, for security, or to comply with law.
Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record. When you buy a license, Polar collects your email address and payment details under Polar's privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can provide support and issue refunds. We do not receive your card number.
If you write to support@highlightharvest.com, we keep the email so we can reply and handle follow-ups. We do not add you to any mailing list.
This website is a set of static pages hosted on Vercel. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts. Vercel may record standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to operate the service, as described in Vercel's privacy policy.
Add-on settings live in your Google account and disappear when you uninstall the add-on. To delete purchase or support records we hold, email support@highlightharvest.com and we will remove them within 30 days, except where we must keep a record for tax or accounting purposes.
The add-on is a general productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
