Terms of Service

Effective 2026-09-10. These terms cover the Highlight Harvest add-on for Google Docs and highlightharvest.com, provided by Geary Works ("we"). By installing or using the add-on you agree to them.

The service

Highlight Harvest is a Google Docs add-on that applies named highlight colors and collects highlighted text into a summary within the document you are working on. It requires a Google account and Google Docs, which are governed by Google's own terms.

Trial and license

• You may use all features free for 14 days from first use.
• After the trial, continued use requires a license key purchased for a one-time fee of USD $9 (plus any applicable tax) through Polar, our merchant of record.
• A license is for one person. You may use it on any number of your own Google accounts and devices. Sharing a key with other people is not permitted.
• Keys do not expire. We may revoke a key that is being shared or was obtained fraudulently.

Refunds

If the add-on does not work for you, email support@highlightharvest.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. Refunds are processed by Polar.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to bypass the license check, redistribute the add-on, or use it to violate Google's terms or any law.

No warranty

The add-on is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free or always available, and Google may change Docs in ways that affect it. Keep your own copies of important documents. The add-on modifies only the document you run it in, and only when you click an action.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the add-on is limited to the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost data or lost profits.

Changes and termination

We may update the add-on and these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. You may stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
